One look at this car and you can hear the James Bond Soundtrack of those five saxophones, nine brass instruments, a solo guitar and a rhythm section. Or you can just play the video above and get taken back to a familiar place.
Just as iconic as the music, this 2009 Aston Martin DBS V12 Manual Example is now a collector car. Indeed, one of our clients has recently acquired it and intends to keep it as part of his new collection. The first drive was a challenge in Sydney traffic for our client however once it got onto the open road motorway it was quote "like wrestling 517 horses at once, all through that six speed manual and heavy clutch, 6 litres and 12 cylinders of just absolutely mental grunt. An intimidating monster as I remember it from a decade ago or more but quite magnificent to drive as well as look at of course. Still far from tamed and what a motoring soul." The same just cannot be said about an electric car! It's about the soul. The DBS was officially unveiled at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance which featured this brand new colour (graphite grey with a blue tint) aka "Lightning Silver" and then also shown at the 2007 Frankfurt motor show. Deliveries of the DBS began in 2008. The DBS was first seen in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale, the first Bond played by Daniel Craig and again in the 2008 Quantum of Solace.
