SOLD - "The Tradesman" Fordite & Wood Ballpoint Handcrafted Pen
SOLD - Nature, Man-made and trade all in one. This handcrafted ballpoint pen was made using two different materials - Fordite and reclaimed wood with a spring action lever and a spanner built into the clip.
Fordite is old automotive paint which has hardened enough to be cut and polished.
It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted, which have been baked numerous times.
The wood is Ziricote, which has a very unique appearance, sometimes referred to as “spider-webbing” or “landscape” grain.
This pen is unique and special because the fordite layers are one of a kind. Mix this with the special wood, you'll be holding something that nobody else will have.
This pen comes with a black card padded box or a beautiful wooden gift box ordered separately on our site.
