"Wheatfield" Bespoke Fordite & Resin Ballpoint Handcrafted Pen
This "Wheatfield" ballpoint pen was made using Fordite and vibrant blue and black coloured resin. From different angles you will get to see the many layers of fordite and then the resin, reminiscent of the menacing sky from Wheatfield with Crows, one of Van Gogh's most famous paintings.
Fordite is old automotive paint from Detroit, which has hardened enough to be cut and polished.
It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted, which have been baked numerous times.
It's unique and special because the layers are one of a kind. You'll be holding something that nobody else will have especially since this is a hybrid pen.
