Q: Steven, what made you want to join the Auto Outsource team?
A: I've known Pedro and Giulia for a number of years and always thought that what Auto Outsource do is incredibly unique, having a special and very much needed place in the market. I also saw how busy they were with the day-to-day operations of the business, so we had a conversation about what things that can be done to expand and have the business grow through a new perspective & approach. I knew my experience could assist with that.
Being part of a newer company that has so much potential and growth is very exciting and quite honestly, very rare - so I jumped at the opportunity to come on board. Pedro & Giulia are very much aligned with the way I operate, so it was a great match. I look forward to being part of the next chapter of this great company which Pedro and Giulia have worked so hard at building. I also run Boosted Autosports on the side, a company specialising in High Performance Tuning, TredWear Tyre Lettering and other car enthusiast products. So I have been able to bring that modification & performance expertise to Auto Outsource.
Lastly, the unbelievable cars and amazing clients that Auto Outsource are surrounded by made the decision even easier.
Its like a dream come true each and every day here, especially with these awesome cars that we have the pleasure of looking after. Every day is different and we get to meet & interact with many passionate car owners.
Q: What is your role at Auto Outsource and what do you offer?
A: I'm the Business Manager here, so I look after growth opportunities and implementation into the business to help it improve. This crosses over into a number of various aspects including sales, marketing, design, social media, establishing new partnerships and also client management which I enjoy. With my background in running a High Performance Automotive company on the side, I have also been able to bring that expertise to Auto Outsource and assist our clients who require that.
Q: Where do you see Auto Outsource in the future?
A: I see Auto Outsource as being the GO-TO for people to have their vehicle cared for whilst avoiding the dramas that so many have to face when dealing with their cars. I see more and more happy clients and car dealerships coming to us and using our services. After seeing how easy, helpful, professional and hassle-free we are, I know that more will tell their friends and family about us also. People will continue to see that they no longer need to worry about their vehicle or stress about who is touching it and whether it will be in good hands or not... they can just call us or send us an email and we will sort out the rest for them.
We are currently planning to expand into other states and territories in Australia so that we can offer our bespoke services to dealerships who need a service like ours in their home city.
Q: What are you working on right now?
A: I'm currently working on a multi-tiered business and marketing strategy to achieve our mission further and increasing our offerings of what we do to the people that need it.
We are launching a range of business, social media and digital marketing initiatives and also have an exciting new website under construction which has a fresh new look and more exclusive VIP access to our client base. In addition, we are establishing new relationships with partners & client bases and implementing some new processes that will make it easier for people to know about us and allow our valued existing clients to refer us.
Q: What got you into cars?
A: Fast & Furious was the movie that got me into performance cars & modifications but growing up, I always loved cars.
From toy cars, building model cars & LEGO and then getting into car racing video games... things just naturally developed. Growing up I went to plenty of car shows and plenty of friends & family purchased High Performance cars which exposed me even more. The older I got, the more I fell in love with European Performance Vehicles which is my current preference.
Q: What was your first car?
A: It was a 1990 Toyota Corolla 1.6L hatchback, red and 5-speed manual. I really loved that car.
Next, I purchased a 2004 VW MK5 Golf 2.0 and later purchased a new VW Golf GTI, which I made performance modifications to.
Q: If you had any money in the world, which car would you purchase and why?
A: Can I choose more than one?! (laughs) That's a hard one, as there's many that I love, however the brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S would be my 1st choice because of that combination of speed, performance, luxury and the deep heritage it has.
